Pay Who You Want Online launche d a fundraising campaign, threw a free concert, and announced a $10 000 prize for artists at the Hard Rock Café in Toronto.
The night featured a stellar lineup of PWYWO artists; The Free Press, The Weak Need, The Runaway, DJ Telidis and Motion. The event celebrated Music on a Mission, a social initiative to raise $100,000 for UrbanEx and Sketch, two organizations that support at-risk and homeless youth through music and art. Lots of download cards were sold in support of the performing artists and the artists on the website.The evening wrapped up with the announcement that PWYWO will be giving a $10 000 contest prize for its top selling artist.
PWYWO encourages its fans and artists to make a change and to buy consciously.
